Scarecrow Advisors

Sandbox Group delivered marketing analytics for financial services company Scarecrow Advisors. The project included Google Analytics 4 event tracking, consent management, and a reporting dashboard in Google Data Studio. As a result, the Scarecrow team gained better visibility into website engagement, lead generation, and marketing performance.

Tag Management

We built a scalable analytics framework using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. This implementation gave Scarecrow Advisors clear visibility into user engagement, lead generation, and website performance. In addition, the setup created a strong foundation for marketing analytics for financial services growth.

Through Google Tag Manager, we deployed a comprehensive set of GA4 event tags to capture activity throughout the customer journey. For example, we tracked page engagement, button clicks, form submissions, and file downloads. As a result, the Scarecrow team gained deeper insight into how users interact with the website.

Additionally, we pre-configured conversion tracking for advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and Reddit. Because of this setup, the client can activate paid media tracking quickly whenever campaigns launch. This approach also supports future growth without requiring major analytics changes.

Consent Management

We implemented CookieYes as the website’s consent management platform and configured a custom consent framework in Google Tag Manager. This setup ensured compatibility with Google privacy and measurement requirements. In addition, it strengthened the company’s marketing analytics foundation by improving data governance.

Marketing Analytics Reporting

After implementing and testing Google Analytics 4 event tracking, we focused on reporting. Our goal was to turn raw analytics data into a simple reporting experience for leadership and internal stakeholders. Therefore, we designed a dashboard that supports better marketing decisions without requiring deep technical knowledge.

Using Google Data Studio, we developed a lightweight, two-page dashboard centered on traffic acquisition, user engagement, and conversion behavior. However, we intentionally avoided overwhelming stakeholders with unnecessary charts or overly technical metrics. Instead, we designed a streamlined reporting experience that serves as a practical introduction to marketing analytics for financial services.

The dashboard helps leadership identify KPI trends quickly and understand how users discover the website. In addition, stakeholders can evaluate which pages and content types drive the strongest engagement. As a result, the Scarecrow team now has a clear and accessible reporting system that supports better business decisions.
